Classic Gel for Nail Extension Premium

A polymer light-curing material that, due to its strength, allows for significant nail plate extension. Contains photoinitiators that initiate the polymerization process when exposed to UV radiation of a specific wavelength.

Properties:

• Acid-free.

• Impact resistance: The gel does not crack upon impact due to its shock-absorbing properties.

• Medium consistency and pigmentation: Covers the free edge of the nail.

• No filing required: Suitable for the no-file extension technique.

• Suitable for upper forms.

• No burning sensation under the lamp.

• Consistency depending on temperature: Thickens in the cold, becomes more fluid in warmth.

• Thixotropic properties: Thins when moved with a brush.

• Can be warmed: The gel can be slightly warmed for easier application.

• Hardness at 1 mm thickness: If thinner than 1 mm, it may bend slightly, which does not affect durability.

• No shrinkage: Holds shape excellently.

Technical parameters:

• Base underlay: Requires a base with Rubber Base.

• Polymerization wavelength: 380-420 nm.

• UV/LED lamp power: 36-48 W.

• Layer thickness: Maximum 0.5 mm on the edge and 1 mm on the apex.

• Polymerization time: 120 seconds.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING

1. Removal of the original material.

2. Do not file the nail shape or leave a 2 mm length, which will be removed after leveling.

3. Surface preparation:

   • Using a 220 grit file, gently buff the nail surface to lift the nail plate scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.

   • Perform a manicure.

   • If using removers, wash hands with soap after application.

4. Degreasing the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon:

   • Degrease the nail in two phases using 4 wipes (one wipe for 5 fingers).

   • First phase: Wipe the nail surface.

   • Second phase: Take an orange wood stick, wrap it with a wipe, and wipe the area around the cuticle and in the sidewalls.

5. Primer as needed:

   • The use of primer is optional. If the underlay has sufficient acidity, it is not necessary.

6. Application of the underlay with Rubber Base LUNAmoon:

   • It is best to use a flat gel brush and apply with rubbing motions, covering all side areas of the nail, and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

7. Removal of the sticky layer.

8. Leveling the nail:

   • If leveling with gel, leave a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

9. Filing the shape:

   • Shape the nail edge to create thickness that supports the free edge.

   • For thin nails that tend to curl, file 1 mm of the natural nail from the underside to prevent material lifting. With hard material and a very soft nail, separation of the natural nail from the hard material on the free edge may occur.

10. Finishing phase:

    • After filing, remove the sticky layer and apply colored gel polish.

    • Apply top coat and cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to preserve the shine.
