DARK MEDIUM GEL - A liquid gel designed for strengthening natural nails, correcting shape, and repairing the nail plate.

DESCRIPTION

• Consistency similar to a rubber base, quick self-leveling

• Medium viscosity — suitable even for medium nail lengths

• Ideal for strengthening short and medium-length nails

• Fully cures in the lamp

• Acid-free formula

• Medium hardness for comfortable wear

APPLICATION

1. Nail preparation:
Perform a manicure. Gently buff the nail surface with a file/buffer, degrease the nail, and apply DARK Ultrabond and DARK Dehydrator.

2. Base layer:
Apply a thin, rubbing layer of SCOTCH BASE, cure for 60 seconds.

3. Remove the sticky layer:
After curing Scotch Base, remove the inhibition layer before applying the gel.

4. Strengthening:
Strengthen the nail using DARK MEDIUM GEL. Cure for 60–90 seconds in a 48W lamp (curing time depends on pigmentation).
Shimmer gels should be mixed before use.

Always use original DARK lamps for proper polymerization.

After curing, the gel may remain sticky — remove the layer before applying color or top.

Do not apply gel directly under the cuticle.

5. Finishing:
Remove the sticky layer. If needed, file and refine the shape.

6. Top coat:
Apply the top coat and cure for 90 seconds.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• When strengthening, it is essential to thin the natural nail from the underside by at least 1 mm to prevent lifting at the free edge.
  If the nail is very short, seal the bottom edge with top coat.

• MEDIUM GEL has medium hardness; for longer nails, it is recommended to use Dark Smart Gel (a harder gel) to prevent shrinkage on extended lengths.

• All DARK hard gels are acid-free.
