Strong base is a strong base that, in its properties, resembles a gel.

Properties:

• Suitable for thin and brittle nails (short and medium length, up to 5 mm free edge). Not suitable for long and curved nails.

• Strengthens and makes nails hard and durable.

• Slightly acidic with a pH of 5-6.

• Has a medium-fluid consistency that allows for leveling within seconds.

• Does not run and self-levels very quickly.

• May generate heat and cause a burning sensation during polymerization on damaged or very thin nails. Not a problem on healthy nails.

• Easily removed by both filing and with a remover.

• Rule for leveling: thickness must be 0.5 mm at the edge.

• Has 3 functions: works as a base, gel, and top coat in one.

• Hypoallergenic.

• If the sticky layer is wiped off, it is not necessary to use a top coat, the base has a natural shine.

• Recommended lamp power is 36-48W (original lamp only).

• Before applying Strong base, it is important to apply an elastic base (Rubber base), ideally Lunamoon Rubber base.

Application Method

Removal of old material

• Do not file the nail shape or leave approximately 2 mm in length, which will be removed only after leveling the surface.

• Use a 220 grit file and gently buff the nail surface without strong pressure to open the nail plate scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.

Nail preparation

• Perform a manicure.

• If using a remover, wash hands with soap and water after its application.

• Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon. Perform this step twice using 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers):

  • First step: wipe the nail surface.

  • Second step: take a wooden stick, wrap it with a wipe, and thoroughly clean the cuticle area and sidewalls.

Base application

• Use primer as needed – if the base underlay has sufficient acidity, it is not necessary.

• Apply the underlay of Rubber Base LUNAmoon using a flat brush intended for gel. Movements should be rubbing, carefully working into the sidewalls of the nail.

• Cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

Surface leveling

• Wipe off the sticky layer.

• Level the nail surface using Strong Base LUNAmoon and cure under the lamp for 90 seconds.

• After leveling, lightly file the nail shape. This step is important to create sufficient thickness on the free edge to strengthen the nail.

Important recommendation

• If the nail was very thin, it may curl. Therefore, it is necessary to file down 1 mm of the natural nail from the underside.

• This step will prevent material lifting.

• If the material is hard and the natural nail is very soft, it may cause the nail to separate from the material on the free edge.

Finishing

• After filing, wipe off the sticky layer again.

• Apply a thin layer of gel polish or camouflage base.

• Cover with top coat and cure for 120 seconds.

• After curing, do not wipe the surface to avoid losing the shine.
